Product Development Engineer

  • Developed injection molded products for law enforcement and military applications. i.e. Holsters, magazines.

  • Designed and manufactured new injection molds for products. Developed and integrated new modular molding concepts.

  • Rebuilt and repaired current tooling to keep current product lines in production. 

  • Managed injection molding production.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

  • Comprehensive understanding of Three Forks Mill. Completed plant documentation (P&ID's) of entire TFM, made up of 30 systems.

  • Reduced TFM 50 pound packaging system maintenance task by 75% through mechanical redesign.

  • Computational fluid dynamics simulation of two distinct fluid energy mills in TFM and Ludlow, Vermont.

  • Plant maintenance and General plant utility work.

  • Member of the plant emergency medical team.

MSU Independent Study

  • Developed ETME 410 Computerized Numerical Control and Computer-aided Manufacturing Technology curriculum, updating class content to modern day machining techniques. 

  • Curriculum includes 5 axis machining, bar fed live tooled lathe machining, with addition engineering content such as process analysis and job planning.

  • Taught MCH 232-CNC Lathe Operation Level II. Helped guide 15 students into a career path in the machining industry.

Manufacturing Engineer

  • Contributed to the design and manufacturing of gyro stabilized gimbal systems including the CM123, CM202U, CM202G, and other CM202 configurations. 

  • Created the design and manufacturing methods for the aluminum gimbal (CM202U and CM123) front and rear covers in a 3 axis mill, and later streamlined in a 5 axis mill.

  • Designed and manufactured custom gimbal sensor configurations for an auto industry leader.

  • Responsible for all outsourcing and in house machining of greater than 500 distinct components and parts. 

  • Managed internal machine shop tooling, fixturing, and material inventory.

CNC Machinist

  • Main project: machined fluid energy mill used for mineral processing.

  • Proficient in programming, setup, and running Haas 4 Axis VMC’s and CNC Horizontal Lathes. 

  • Performed hydraulic cylinder repair.
